Learning & Development Specialist
To support Eville & Jones employees in attaining and maintaining effective skills for their roles, focussing on the management population and the upskilling of the L&D Team development
- Experienced L&D professional with a broad knowledge of leadership theory and models; (preferably in) Communication, Change, Personal and Team Development, Leadership and Management
- Extensive experience in facilitation and design
- CIPD Qualified Level 3 and/or with significant, equivalent experience
- Experience of recognising developmental gaps and implementing development plans
- Accomplished skills in planning, project management and evaluation of practices
- Full knowledge of Microsoft applications especially use of PowerPoint and MS Teams
- Self-starter, ability to manage own energy, motivation, and that of others
- Emotional intelligence, strong people and soft skills with ability to nurture relationships
- Demonstrate enthusiasm, flexibility, transparency, positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
- A delivery focused attitude with the ability to drive tasks forward and meet demanding deadlines
- Excellent team participation skills to include a willingness to understand alternative perspectives
- Able to balance priorities and work effectively in a variety of corporate cultures
- A second language (Spanish, Romanian, Turkish, Portuguese) would be an advantage but not essential
Eville & Jones is a business embarking on a period of change and modernisation. With plans underway to transform our traditional People function; we are looking for a Learning and Development Leadership Specialist who will implement and deliver a wide range of learning and development activities for the management team through the integration of a new management development academy.
We are seeking a team player with a creative and innovative approach to learning and development, with the ability to implement, deliver and maintain a quality service. The ideal candidate needs to be self-motivated, resilient and able to work at pace.
This role requires a L&D professional with experience in learning and development & project management in a similar organisation. This role would suit somebody who has worked in a fast-paced environment and is used to establishing professional relationships with a range of stakeholders. The successful candidate will have experience of working with others to identify areas for improvement and simplify processes and show a positive approach to keeping the efforts focused on the top priorities.
- Facilitation of a programme of modules (both virtual and face to face delivery) to multiple cohorts across the UK specialising in leadership
- Design and development of content and updating current materials in line with business needs
- Monitor and evaluate delegate feedback and make appropriate updates to content and delivery methods
- Act as a mentor/guide for all learners enrolled within development programmes
- Continuously review eLearning content and LMS provision to ensure its optimised towards the needs of the business
- Input to the creation of digital learning collateral and assist functions with learning content creation
- Working with the People Team function on curriculum design in conjunction with the business and colleagues
- Identify skills/knowledge gaps through regular observations and implement relevant interventions
- Manage & support business strategy of commercialising the L&D offering
- Support design and roll out of the estate wide performance management implementation and transition
