• Experience of managing end to end payroll processes
  • Sage 50 cloud payroll experience
  • Competence in using Microsoft Excel

Reporting to the Head of Payroll, the role will focus on supporting the end payroll processes for circa 800 employees to ensure that they are paid correctly and on time. The position will also provide pensions and general administrative support.

The role is Full time (40 hrs) based at our Head Office at Thorpe Park, Leeds (LS15 8ZB) and this opportunity offers some hybrid working options too.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing the groups monthly and four weekly payrolls to meet deadlines
  • Receipt and checking of weekly timesheets and resolving queries
  • Maintain the payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data
  • Responding to colleague queries regarding wages, deductions etc
  • Processing sickness and other absences in line with company policies
  • Handling changes in job status and job titles
  • Processing overtime payments and payroll deductions
  • Processing permanent and variable elements, payrolling benefits in kind, and statutory payments
  • Adhering to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant law
  • Processing of tax year end and annual reporting including P11Ds
  • Administering joiners and leavers to the Group Personal Pension Plan where applicable
  • Supporting with other ad hoc general administrative tasks
