Comprising (Official Vets, EOVs and MHIs, the highly talented recruits will be working with their new colleagues and clients across England, Wales and Northern Ireland shortly.
Our most recent drive for top-notch professionals is in response to the increased need for vet checks anticipated following the end of the Brexit transition period, on 31st December (see Export Health Certification – the complete service). This has seen huge business growth, with a number of blue chips and household names among the many major exporters signing up.
The highly successful recruitment campaign is the latest part of a concerted effort to boost our world leading field force all year. This has been unabated by Coronavirus, although we have had to find innovative ways to reach out, as face-to-face contact was almost impossible. As a result, we have been strengthening existing ties with Eastern European universities and introducing ourselves to others – working closely with several of them on their online events; sponsoring and taking part in other academic and web vet conferences; and mounting an ambitious careers webinar strand of our own for veterinarians and undergraduates across many territories.
Yet more new top talent will be arriving at E&J on New Year’s Eve!

Export Health Certification
“An Export Health Certificate (EHC) is an official UK Government document, issued by APHA (Animal & Plant Health Agency), signed by an official veterinarian (OV), that confirms that certain food or animal products meet the import requirements of another country.” ~ UK government.
Brexit brings the likelihood that export certification will be required for all products of animal origin going to EU countries from 1st January 2021. Whatever system is introduced, commercial demand for Export Health Certification (EHC) is growing massively as that or a similar system of vet checks for outbound consignments to member states will be imposed.
