A prestigious awards nomination has been received by our Business Development Manager, Ioana Dobre, for her work sterling work in raising awareness of the challenges facing exporters post-Brexit.
Having first joined Eville & Jones as one of our Official Veterinarians over five years ago, Ioana’s success has seen her progress through the company to become a champion for helping exporters deliver their products of animal origin around the world.
She has been recognised in the Industry Supplier category of the Women In Meat Industry Awards which will be held on 17th November at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London.
In the shortlist of nominees, Ioana has been described as a highly valued team member who provides “excellent technical support to the industry” and has played a key part in a remarkable period of growth for Eville & Jones which is the largest independent provider of veterinary controls in Europe.
After graduating in Public Health and Animal Welfare from the University of Bucharest, Romania, in 2013, Ioana started her career in veterinary medicine before moving to the UK.
Later working as an Official Veterinarian in the north of England, Ioana demonstrated excellent skills and strong ambition which did not go unrecognised by her peers at Eville & Jones.
She was subsequently promoted to the role of Area Resource Manager and then Area Veterinary Manager, before taking on her current position as Business Development Manager.
Ioana is an expert in exports, and post-Brexit was responsible for the successful development of new processes, implementation of EU SPS requirements and delivery of certification across England, Scotland and Wales.
