E&J's MRCVS-registered veterinarians specialise in delivering comprehensive animal welfare licensing inspection services. We support local authorities in fulfilling their obligations under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018, with a commitment to promoting animal welfare and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

All commercial boarding facilities require a licence. Inspections are conducted to verify they meet the stipulated welfare standards and provide safe and humane conditions for the animals.

Certain wild bird diseases are a danger to other wildlife and some such as avian flu can also threaten our health. E&J is contracted by Defra to collect small samples of some dead wild birds for post mortem inspection and testing at official veterinary laboratories.
