Due to our ever-growing expansion, we are recruiting new talents to join our team. A new opportunity has arisen for an Exports Certification Specialist for one of our clients.
This hybrid opportunity is based in Morrisons in Sittingbourne and working from home two days per week.
Key responsibilities include:
· Effectively manage and maintain product information required to support the Export Health Certification of Products of Animal Origin (POAO) to be exported to or transit the EU
· Deal with Customs and Excise compliance and freight financial obligations for all Exports
· Highlight trends, improve performance, and ensure compliance with agreed processes
· Be an ambassador for the business in all aspects of the supplier, third party, contract management and Government
· Provide advice, guidance and coaching to internal and external Stakeholders on complex food export legislation to ensure the provision of accurate product data
Skills and experience preferred:
· Basic commercial understanding and awareness of developing / operating third-party contracts
. Hold minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or 3 A Levels being 2 of them in Science or Food Technology
· Understanding of stock flow and stock record management across grocery retail
· Intermediate to advanced IT skills including database systems, Excel, Google sheets and data management
· Organisational and communication dexterity with the tenacity to follow up and resolve issues with suppliers and wider business
· Ability to navigate and interpret complex legislation
· Proactive with analytical decision-making skills and ability to prioritise the workload effectively
· Experience in technical product compliance and export health certification requirements
· Proficiency in the development and delivery of supplier training guides, coaching and online webinars
· Understanding of current food export legislation including Animal Health Regulations and destination market requirements is desirable
· Full driving licence with car
